The 28th Annual Run for Life 5K will take place on October 17th at 9:00 AM! All participants are asked to arrive by 8:30 AM for check-in and race instructions! After the race, stick around for food and fun!
About the Event: The main purposes of this annual event are: To Honor the Lives of Two Beloved Mizzou DPT Students:Christopher Griffith, a compassionate home health therapist, passed away shortly after graduation. Stacey Bragg, a member of the Class of 1997, tragically passed away while enrolled in the program. Both are remembered for their kindness, warmth, and dedication to the physical therapy profession.
To Raise Funds for SPTO (Student Physical Therapy Organization): Proceeds from the race support student participation in local and national PT conferences, service-oriented activities within the community, administrative needs of SPTO. Open to students, alumni, families, and the public! Walkers and runners welcome!
T-shirts: Shirt pickup will be available on October 16th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Clark Hall (701 S. Providence Rd), or on race day, October 17th, from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. IMPORTANT: Be sure to register online by October 5th to guarantee a t-shirt for race week.
